Public Servant Legal Defense Against Unlawful Federal Targeting

Description

Protects public servants who follow [State/Local Jurisdiction] law in defiance of illegal federal mandates from being unlawfully targeted by federal enforcement. Provides legal defense funding, indemnification, and job protection for state and local officials, educators, and law enforcement officers facing prosecution, lawsuits, or penalties. Prohibits state and local resources from being used to assist federal enforcement actions against protected individuals.

This provision is enacted as part of the Restoration of Constitutional Governance and Protection of the People Act, either initially or by amendment, and the general provisions of the Act apply to it, including as to jurisdiction.
