Executive Authority to Defend Truth Tellers from Unlawful Federal Retaliation

Description

Authorizes the [Governor/Local Executive] to take discretionary action to prevent federal agencies from unlawfully retaliating against individuals, organizations, or businesses for publicly opposing unlawful federal actions. Allows executive orders directing state and local agencies to refuse participation in retaliatory federal investigations, financial penalties, or legal actions.

This provision is enacted as part of the Restoration of Constitutional Governance and Protection of the People Act, either initially or by amendment, and the general provisions of the Act apply to it, including as to jurisdiction.
