Find Your State and Local Representatives
The Resolution to Restore the Constitution can be introduced by any state or local legislature.
Use the
Cicero Representative Lookup
to enter your address and view a full list of your elected officials.
Then follow these steps to take action:
-
Identify Legislators: Look for your state and local legislative officials—these
are the ones who can introduce the resolution. Depending on where you live, they may be called a
State Assembly, State Senate, House of Delegates, City Council, Town Council, County Board, or
Board of Supervisors, among other things. You may also want to include executive officials like
your governor, county executive, or mayor.
Tip: Start with the level of government where action is most likely. If your
state is more supportive of democratic values than your city or county (or vice versa), focus
your efforts there. If both seem equally viable, it’s probably best to start with the state.
